About the role:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Hotel Services Coordinator to join our Bendigo aged care facility. This is a key leadership role that plays a vital part in creating a safe, welcoming and high quality environment for our residents, families and staff.

You will coordinate and oversee all hotel services functions including cleaning, catering, laundry and waste management. You will ensure services are delivered efficiently, compliantly and to a consistently high standard, while leading and supporting a dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate cleaning, catering, laundry and waste services across the site to ensure smooth day to day operations
  • Maintain compliance documentation and ensure adherence to regulatory, food safety, OHS and infection control requirements
  • Manage ordering systems, supplier relationships and invoice approvals within delegated financial authority
  • Develop and manage rosters to ensure appropriate staffing levels, capability and skill mix
  • Lead, coach and support hotel services staff, including performance management and reviews
  • Assist with budget management, monitoring and reporting
  • Promote person centred care and a strong customer service culture aligned with Uniting AgeWell values
  • Work collaboratively with clinical and operational leaders to support the overall success of the home

This is a full time role working Monday to Friday and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a growing aged care organisation, while leading essential services that directly contribute to resident wellbeing.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in hotel services coordination, preferably in aged care or healthcare.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards.
  • Mandatory: Chef qualification (Certificate III or higher in Commercial Cookery or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements, food safety, and OHS standards.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

  • A current Working With Children Check card 
  • Current and ongoing flu vaccinations
