About the role

An exciting opportunity exists for a Hotel Services Coordinator to support our Hotel Services Manager in the coordination and improvement of the delivery of the cleaning, catering and laundry functions for Uniting AgeWell Residences at Kings Meadows.

Coordination of rostering and ordering to ensure the provision of high quality BEST practice cleaning, catering and laundry functions in line with all budgets

Ensure all non-clinical operations including catering, laundry as well as maintenance and waste management maintain compliance and that they meet accreditation standards

Other areas of responsibility include promoting food and kitchen hygiene and safety practices, to ensure compliance requirements are me

About you

• Comprehensive knowledge of aged care accreditation standards and experience with accreditation compliance preferred
• Comprehensive Knowledge and experience of Occupational Health and Safety compliance in a hotel services setting
• Experience and expertise in customer service and all aspects of kitchen management
• Experience and expertise in the coordination of hotel services in an aged care or hospital setting, such services to include cleaning, laundry and / or catering
• Thrive in a team and also appreciate the one to one interactions
• Are committed to being part of a workplace culture based on the BEST way of life (Believe, Excel, Support and Trust)

• A current Working With Children & Vulnerable People card
• Current and ongoing flu and COVID-19 Vaccinations
• Australian working rights
• Ability to pass a national police clearance and/or NDIS clearance
