About the role:

As an IT Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation, support, and improvement of Uniting AgeWell’s IT infrastructure. You will provide host support for both on-premises and cloud environments, manage IT infrastructure tickets (including hosting, desktop, and related systems), and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver reliable, secure, and customer-focused IT services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resolve technical incidents to minimise downtime and ensure continuity
  • Provide troubleshooting for incidents, service requests, and escalations
  • Maintain IT infrastructure aligned with governance and security standards
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver optimal outcomes
  • Support team members with ad hoc tasks and projects as needed

About you:

  • Relevant tertiary and/or industry qualifications
  • Strong proficiency in servers, applications, and cloud systems (Azure)
  • Experience with Microsoft operating systems, Microsoft 365, InTune and Microsoft Exchange
  • Knowledge of Azure architecture, security best practices, and certifications
  • Excellent problem-solving, teamwork, and customer service skills.
