About the role:

 Based out of our new community hub in Waurn Ponds, join a supportive organisation where you'll have opportunities to contribute and develop your skills. As a qualified Occupational Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering essential services in the wider Geelong region.

You'll be responsible for providing focused home-based services for older clientele (65+) with a variety of health conditions, accessing services through their Home Care Package (HCP). Our service is built on a foundation of innovation, focusing on clients’ strengths, goal-directed interventions, and maximizing independence and autonomy.
 
We also provide generous financial support for professional development, enabling you to expand your skills and knowledge in your chosen areas of interest.

About you:

You are a physiotherapist with strong clinical skills, a client-centred approach, and a commitment to continuous learning and best practice. You are motivated to deliver high-quality care, adapt to changing client needs, and contribute to a positive team culture. You value evidence-based practice, seek feedback to improve your work, and are dedicated to supporting older adults to achieve their goals and maintain independence.
 

We are looking for individuals with:

  • Recognised tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Experience in Community Aged Care with clients receiving HCP/SAH services
  • Demonstrated knowledge of clinical practice working with a variety of health conditions in 65+ year old clientele
  • The ability to work autonomously and manage a caseload independently
  • Have full Australian working rights and are able to pass a national police clearance
  • Have a valid driver's license and access to a car
  • Are committed to being part of a workplace culture based on the BEST way of life (Believe, Excel, Support and Trust)

Essentials for working in Aged Care:

  • A current Working With Children Check card 
  • Current and ongoing flu vaccinations
  • Australian working rights
  • Ability to pass a national police clearance and NDIS Clearance
