About the role:

The Brand and Advertising Lead is a valued leader within the Marketing and Community Relations team who helps drive organisational growth and brand trust through dynamic and creative brand activations and advertising campaigns.
Reporting to the Director, Marketing and Communications, the Brand and Advertising Lead will play an integral role in the successful implementation of Uniting AgeWell’s marketing and communications strategy and contribute to the delivery of the organisation’s strategic objectives.
The Brand and Advertising Lead will:
• lead brand and advertising activities arising from the marketing and communications strategy, organisational strategic plan and operational services to support service marketing and brand engagement;
• amplify brand and marketing/advertising activities through effective planning, stakeholder consultation, campaign development and execution, tracking and analysis;
• enhance Uniting AgeWell’s profile and maintain brand voice, integrity and reputation;
• ensure channel and audience appropriate advertising and promotion that expands reach and engages and informs the target audience, maximising impact, service uptake and ROI; and
• demonstrate a genuine desire to make a difference to the lives of the people we serve, their families and our broader community.
About you:
You are driven by curiosity and creativity, using insight and momentum to build meaningful community connection and elevate brand presence with care and purpose.
An accomplished brand custodian and project manager, you thrive when developing and delivering integrated advertising and promotional programs and continually identifying new opportunities aligned to organisational values and strategic intent.
This is the place for you if you have:
• a tertiary qualification in marketing or communications and at least five years’ experience in brand leadership, preferably in a large-scale human services organisation
• a strong track record in developing and producing brand executions, campaigns and advertising across a range of mediums and audiences, with an eagle eye for detail and audience insight
• outstanding communication and copywriting skills with a strong creative approach including effective brief development, storyboarding and photographic and art direction
• exceptional interpersonal, industry and media networking skills
• excellent organisational, project and budget management, analytical and reporting skills
