About the role:
An exciting 18-month fixed term opportunity to lead our Independent Communities in Melbourne's East.
- Serve as the first point of contact for all general enquiries, property management and apartment resales to achieve and maintain optimal occupancy, and foster a supportive, welcoming and engaging environment for residents and their guests
- Ensure staff supervision is effective and in line with Uniting AgeWell policies, procedures and expectations
- Ensure complaints and disputes are managed and resolved efficiently and effectively and in line with Uniting Age Well’s obligations.
- Ensure budgets are maintained within their portfolio (Resident & Minor works Budgets)
- Support and drive customer engagement and activation within communities
This is the place for you if you have:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Retirement or housing related environment supervision or relevant industry experience (desirable)

Experience and expertise in relating to and managing a diverse range of people with a strong focus on customer service

Understanding of the financial aspects of apartments and housing

Excellent knowledge and experience in the Hotel environment/retirement village or residential aged care with a commitment to high standards of care for residents
- Experience in relating to a diverse range of people
- Willingness to be flexible in responding to requests and being the first point of contact for Residents, visitors and other Uniting AgeWell staff
Essentials for working in Aged Care:
- A current Working With Children’s Check (VIC) or willingness to obtain one
- Full Australian working rights
- A current Police Records Check/NDIS Clearance or be willing to undertake this process
- Current flu and ongoing vaccinations as required
