About the role:

As a qualified Exercise Physiologist, you will be an integral part of our innovative multidisciplinary team, providing both on-site and home-based services. You will play a pivotal role in establishing our new Braybrook Allied Health site in the West Melbourne metro region. Your primary focus will be providing individual and group-based exercise physiology services to older adults. Our service is goal-directed and aims to maximise independence and autonomy.

About You:

You are passionate about what you do and are committed to delivering best practice. You want to make a difference in the lives of older adults by enhancing their self-esteem and empowering them. This role is available from part-time to full-time employment.
 
We are looking for individuals with:
 
• ESSA accreditation as an Exercise Physiologist
• Experience in conducting physical assessments, developing care plans, and implementing evidence-based clinical interventions
• Experience with running group exercise programs, such as strength and conditioning sessions or balance groups. We are particularly interested in candidates with skills in Pilates (reformer & floor-based), Yoga, and Tai Chi, and we are willing to support and fund training for suitable candidates in these areas
• Experience in the Aged Care or Community Sectors (desirable)
• The ability to work autonomously and manage a caseload independently
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
• High-level organizational skills and computer literacy
• A commitment to our BEST philosophy
