About the role:

This is a rewarding opportunity for a part-time to full-time employee to provide high-quality and professional administrative support to our new Allied Health site in Braybrook. The standard working hours will be 8am to 4pm, but flexibility can be discussed. In this role, you will be a key point of contact for clients, visitors, and staff, ensuring a smooth and efficient daily operation.
 
Your responsibilities will include:
 
• Providing outstanding customer service, maintaining friendly, supportive, and professional relationships with clients, their relatives, and friends
• Providing friendly and professional reception and switchboard support
• Checking in visitors, contractors, and other guests, ensuring OSH guidelines are followed
• Assisting with clinic schedules, client appointments, and intake processes
• Completing ad-hoc administration duties as required

About You:

You are passionate about what you do and want to make a difference in the lives of our residents/clients, to support them to live life to their potential

This is the place for you if you have:

  • Experience and expertise in managing a busy switchboard and reception
  • Experience in communicating effectively with a diverse range of people, including older people or those who have disabilities
  • Experience in community or allied health administration is strongly preferred
  • A strong ability to connect with people and build rapport, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with a diverse range of people, including older people and those with disabilities
  • Experience in database and finance systems
  • Excellent proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook with keyboard skills of typing of 50 wpm
  • Thrive in a team and also appreciate the one to one interactions

  • A current Working With Children Check card
  • Current and ongoing flu vaccinations
  • Australian working rights
  • Ability to pass a national police clearance and NDIS Clearance
