About the role:
- Contribute to residents’ quality of life and their nutrition and hydration wellbeing through the provision of quality food services
- Maintain routine and variable cleaning schedules for food preparation and service areas in accordance with Food Safety Program requirements
- Be organised and service-focused, responding to resident needs by listening and communicating effectively
- Escalate any concerns as needed while ensuring resident privacy and dignity are always maintained
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and beverages
- Provide warm, friendly service to residents, visitors, and staff
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area
- Contribute to a positive, community-focused environment
About you:
You are passionate about what you do and want to make a difference in the lives of our residents, enhancing their self-esteem and empowering them to make choices.

- Completion of a Basic Food Handlers Certificate (preferred)
- Barista experience essential
- Are known for your caring and compassionate nature
- Have the initiative and ability to work without supervision
- Thrive in a team and also appreciate the one to one interactions

Essentials for working in Aged Care:
- A current Working With Children Check card
- Current and ongoing flu vaccinations
- Australian working rights
- Ability to pass a national police clearance and NDIS Clearance
