About the role:

Are you passionate about making a difference every day? As a Food Services Assistant at Uniting AgeWell Kingsville, you’ll play a vital role in creating a positive dining experience for our residents. This is more than just serving meals—it’s about supporting health, wellbeing, and dignity through nutritious food and friendly service.

You’ll work as part of a caring, multidisciplinary team to deliver meals in line with our planned menu and Food Safety Program. Your contribution helps ensure residents feel valued and comfortable, whether in the dining hall or in their rooms.

Available Rosters

  • Role 1 (Rotating Fortnightly):
    Week 1: Thu & Fri – 3:00 pm to 7:30 pm
    Week 2: Thu, Fri & Sat – 3:00 pm to 7:30 pm

  • Role 2:
    Sun, Mon & Tue – 8:00 am to 2:00 pm (Week 1 & 2)

  • Role 3:
    Wed, Thu, Fri & Sat – 8:00 am to 2:00 pm (Week 1 & 2)

About you:

This is the place for you if you:

  • Have experience and expertise working in food service; preferably in a health, hotel or aged care setting
  • Can work at a fast pace as part of a team
  • Are experienced in customer service and provide excellent standard of service
  • Have the initiative and ability to work without supervision
  • Thrive in a team and also appreciate the one to one interactions
  • Are committed to being part of a workplace culture based on the BEST way of life (Believe, Excel, Support and Trust)

Essentials for working in Aged Care:

  • A current Working With Children Check (VIC) Employee card
  • Current and ongoing flu vaccinations
  • Australian working rights
  • Ability to pass a national police clearance and
  • Hold a valid NDIS Clearance
