About the Roles – Multiple Positions Available
We are currently recruiting for Home Care Domestic Support and Home Care Workers to join our team. These roles play an important part in helping older people remain safe, supported, and independent in their own homes, while monitoring client wellbeing and promptly reporting any concerns.
Home Care Domestic Support - Bendigo
No formal qualifications are required for this role. Instead, we look for people who bring genuine care, kindness, and a desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
This role focuses on helping clients remain comfortable and independent in their own homes by providing domestic assistance and showing respect for each client’s preferences, cultural background, and values.
Travelling between clients’ homes, you may provide assistance such as:

Vacuuming, mopping, laundry, and general tidying

Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, and living areas
Home Care Worker - Bendigo and Castlemaine
The Home Care Worker role requires a qualification such as a Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (or an equivalent qualification).
This varied role involves supporting clients with both personal care and household tasks to help them live safely and confidently at home.
Travelling between clients’ homes, you may provide assistance such as:

Personal care, including showering, grooming, toileting, and mobility support

Domestic duties, including vacuuming, mopping, laundry, and tidying, as well as cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, and shared living areas

Providing social support or transport to appointments, community activities, or assisting with other household duties
What We’re Looking For

Mandatory Requirements
Both roles applicants must have or be willing to obtain:

Valid Australian driver’s licence and unlimited access to a reliable, insured vehicle

Current First Aid and CPR certifications

Working with Children Check (Employee)

National Police Check

Up-to-date vaccinations in accordance with Uniting AgeWell’s Vaccination Policy

Full Australian working rights
The qualified Home Care Worker role requires:
