About the role:
Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, the Head of Cybersecurity leads the development and execution of our enterprise cyber security function across Uniting AgeWell. This role is responsible for setting our security posture through strategy, architecture, policy and education while overseeing day to day security operations. As a member of the Digital Leadership Team, you will drive cyber maturity, manage vendor partnerships and ensure our data, systems and networks are protected. You will balance strategic leadership with hands on technical oversight in a complex, highly regulated aged care environment. Your work will directly support safe, trusted and resilient care services across Victoria and Tasmania.
- Develop and deliver an enterprise cyber security strategy and roadmap
- Lead incident response and manage security events end to end
- Own cyber policies, standards, playbooks and response plans
- Monitor security posture across systems, networks and data
- Manage and optimise cyber security vendors and tooling
- Embed cyber security into projects, operations and training
About you:
You are passionate about what you do and want to make a difference in the lives of our residents/clients, enhancing their self-esteem and empowering them to make choices.
This is the place for you if you:
- 5+ years senior cyber security leadership experience
- Tertiary qualification in Cybersecurity, IT or similar
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM or Security+
- Strong knowledge of NIST CSF, Zero Trust and ASD Essential 8
- Experience designing and delivering cyber strategies
- Hands on knowledge of modern cyber security tooling
- Ability to influence senior leaders and technical teams

- A current Working With Children Check card
- Current and ongoing flu vaccinations
- Australian working rights
- Ability to pass a national police clearance
