About the role:

The Health, Safety & Wellbeing Trainer plays a key role in strengthening safety capability and consistency across Uniting AgeWell. This role partners with leaders and frontline teams to build a strong, practical safety culture that supports quality care, workforce wellbeing and compliance. With a focus on influence, capability uplift and continuous improvement, the role helps ensure safety training translates into everyday practice across diverse service environments.
  • Deliver face to face and online health, safety and wellbeing training
  • Facilitate manual handling and Safe Moves training programs
  • Conduct on site reviews and provide coaching to teams and leaders
  • Monitor training attendance, competency and mandatory completion
  • Review and update training content based on risks and business needs
This is a permanent, full time opportunity based out of Melbourne CBD Head Office, working Monday to Friday. Hybrid working options available.
 
About you:

You are a confident, practical trainer who can engage diverse teams and translate safety requirements into everyday practice. You bring credibility, adaptability and a genuine commitment to creating safe, supportive workplaces.

  • Experience delivering engaging training to clinical and non clinical teams
  • Strong knowledge of health, safety and wellbeing principles
  • Confidence facilitating face to face and online learning
  • Ability to coach leaders and influence safe behaviours
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Flexibility to travel and work across multiple service locations

  • A current Working With Children check card
  • Current and ongoing flu vaccinations
