Our Support at Home Program helps older people live safely, independently, and comfortably in their own homes for as long as possible. We are expanding our Home Care team and are seeking caring, reliable, and community-minded Home Care Domestic Support Workers to join us in the Monash City area, and surrounding communities.

About the role
As a Home Care Domestic Support Worker, you will travel between clients homes, providing domestic assistance and household support that helps maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment.
No formal qualifications are required for this role. We provide support and training for people who are passionate about helping older members of the community remain independent in their own homes.
- Part Time position
- Guaranteed minimum of 20 hours per fortnight
- Availability required across 3 (or more) weekdays per week during day time hours
- Travelling between clients homes within Monash City, and surrounding areas
Key Responsibilities
- Provide domestic assistance and household support tailored to each clients individual needs.
- Perform a range of household duties, including cleaning, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, laundry, changing bed linen, and general tidying
- Support clients to maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment that promotes independence and wellbeing
- Build positive, respectful, and professional relationships with clients and their families through regular interactions
- Deliver services in a manner that respects each clients cultural, spiritual, and personal preferences
- Accurately maintain client records and complete required documentation
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and the broader care team to achieve positive outcomes for clients
What we're looking for
- Experience in a home care, aged care, community care, or domestic support/cleaning role (desirable)
- A genuine commitment to providing person-centred care and supporting positive client outcomes
- An understanding of the importance of delivering high-quality services to clients and their families
- The ability to work independently while also contributing positively as part of a collaborative team
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building meaningful client relationships
- A commitment to maintaining safe, clean, and comfortable home environments

Mandatory requirements
Applicants must have, or be willing to obtain:
- A current Victorian Driver Licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Working with Children Check (Employee)
- National Police Check
- Up-to-date vaccinations in accordance with Uniting AgeWell's Vaccination Policy
- Full Australian working rights
