About the role

Our Support at Home Program helps older people to live safely and independently in their own homes for as long as possible.

We are expanding our Home Care team and have opportunities supporting clients in Euroa and surrounding communitites.  

The Home Care Domestic Support role will see you travel between clients' homes, providing domestic assistance that helps clients maintain a safe, clean and comfortable home environment. No qualification is required for this role. This is meaningful work where you can see the difference you make every day.

These are part-time positions with guaranteed contracted hours of 20 hours per fortnight. To meet client and rostering requirements, successful candidates will have daytime availability across at least three weekdays per week.

What you will be doing

  • Providing domestic assistance and household support tailored to each client's individual needs, including cleaning, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, laundry, changing bed linen, tidying and other household tasks
  • Supporting clients to maintain a safe, clean and comfortable home environment
  • Building respectful, professional relationships with clients and their families through regular visits and meaningful interactions
  • Respecting and incorporating each client's cultural, spiritual and individual needs
  • Maintaining accurate records and completing required documentation
  • Working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to support positive client outcomes

About you

You are compassionate, reliable and genuinely motivated to make a difference in people's lives. You enjoy both working independently and being part of a supportive team.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience in domestic support, cleaning, housekeeping or a similar role (desirable)
  • A commitment to respectful, high-quality support
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • The ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
  • A positive attitude and a genuine desire to support older people to live independently at home
  • A commitment to being part of a workplace culture based on the BEST way of life (Believe, Excel, Support and Trust)

Essential Requirements

You must have, or be willing to obtain:

  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates
  • A Victorian Driver Licence
  • Access to a reliable, registered and insured vehicle for work-related travel
  • A Victorian Working With Children Check (Employee)
  • Current and ongoing flu vaccination
  • Australian working rights
  • A National Police Check
