About the role:
You will deliver home-based Occupational Therapy services in the Bendigo region for clients aged 65+ accessing services through their Support at Home (SAH) package. The role focuses on functional independence, environmental modification, equipment prescription, and reablement.
This is an ongoing permanent position with full-time or flexible FTE options, including family‑friendly hours and varied working days.
You will receive regular one‑to‑one supervision and support from our Practice Lead. You’ll also be supported by a large team of OTs, the Allied Health scheduling team, the Operations Manager, and local on‑site staff.
We provide general support and generous financial reimbursement for professional development to help you build skills in your areas of interest.
About you:
You are an Occupational Therapist with strong clinical reasoning skills, a client‑centred approach, and a commitment to continuous learning. You are motivated to deliver high-quality care, adapt to varied client needs, and contribute to a positive team culture. You value evidence‑based practice and support older adults to maximise independence, safety, and wellbeing.
We are looking for individuals with:
- Recognised tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Experience in Community Aged Care with clients receiving HCP/SAH services
- Demonstrated knowledge of clinical practice working with a variety of health conditions in 65+ year old clientele
- The ability to work autonomously and manage a caseload independently
- Have full Australian working rights and are able to pass a national police clearance
- Have a valid driver's license and access to a car
- Are committed to being part of a workplace culture based on the BEST way of life (Believe, Excel, Support and Trust)
Essentials for working in Aged Care:
- A current Working With Children Check card
- Current and ongoing flu vaccinations
- Australian working rights
- Ability to pass a national police clearance and NDIS Clearance
