About the role:

Working out of our office in Burwood, will see you provide exceptional leadership and effectively manage a team of employees to deliver high quality, compliant, consumer directed services that support the principles of wellness and reablement and connects clients to their communities.  The Team Leader will:

• Collaborate with Program Managers, Care Advisors, Care Organisers to identify Home Care Worker recruitment needs based on current and projected service demand
• Monitor and report funded program KPIs as per the funding agreements.Collaborate with P&C and recruitment partners to recruit and onboard a skilled, empowered and engaged workforce
• Lead team members in daily service delivery operations, including unplanned leave management and service cancellations
• Supervise team members to ensure an effective , efficient and consistent approach to client care
• Supervise team members to ensure scheduling is performed in line with relevant Industrial Awards and taking into consideration Customer needs, goals and preferences
• Collaborate with Directors, Managers to manage planned leave to target
• Provide supervision and support in the case of service disruptions (i.e. natural disasters, pandemics, etc)
• Provide ongoing support, mentoring and management of staff performance

This is a Full Time role working Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm.

About you:

This is the place for you if you have:

• Experience in Managing teams within an Age Care sitting (desirable)
• Extensive experience in a community aged care setting
• Previous administrative and rostering/scheduling experience in community services (CHSP/HCP)
• Ability to manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment
• Experience within the aged care sector
• Thrive in a team and also appreciate the one to one interactions

Essentials for working in Aged Care:

• A current Working With Children Check card
• Current and ongoing flu vaccinations
• Australian working rights
• Ability to pass a national police clearance and NDIS Clearance
