About the role
Our Support at Home Program helps older people to live safely and independently in their own homes for as long as possible.
Positions are located within your local area, providing support to clients in nearby communities such as Echuca, Mathoura, Tongala, Kyabram, Rochester, and surrounding areas, allowing you to work close to where you live
These are part-time roles with a minimum commitment of 20 hours per fortnight. You must be available to work at least three weekdays per week during daytime hours.
You will travel between clients’ homes, providing personalised support tailored to individual needs. This is meaningful work where you can see the difference you make every day.

Home Care Workers provide personal care and domestic assistance to support clients with daily living needs. Duties vary depending on client requirements and individual care plans.

Home Care Domestic Support
-
Home Care Domestic Support workers focus primarily on domestic assistance, helping clients maintain a safe and comfortable home environment. No qualification is required for this role.

What you will be doing
-
Supporting clients with personal care, where applicable
-
Providing domestic assistance such as cleaning, laundry, and tidying
- Respecting and incorporating each client’s cultural, spiritual, and individual needs
-
Monitoring client wellbeing and escalating concerns appropriately
-
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team
-
Building respectful, professional relationships with clients and their families
About you
You are compassionate, reliable, and genuinely motivated to make a difference in people’s lives. You enjoy both working independently and being part of a supportive team.
This role is ideal if you have

Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Aged or Disability), or equivalent
-
Nursing students who have completed their first year are encouraged to apply
- Unqualified entry roles are available for Home Care Domestic Support

Willingness to obtain Current First Aid and CPR certificates
-
A current Victorian driver’s licence and unlimited access to a reliable, insured vehicle

Experience in home care or domestic support (desirable)

An understanding of client-directed care

A commitment to respectful, high-quality support
