Our Loddon Mallee North Home Care Program provides essential in-home support to elderly clients in Sea Lake, Woomelang, Culgoa, Berriwillock, and surrounding Buloke Shire communities.

About the Roles – Multiple Positions Available
We are recruiting for multiple positions across two roles, both requiring travel between clients’ homes to provide care and support.
Home Care Domestic Support – key responsibilities may include:

Performing household tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, laundry, and tidying
-
Preparing light meals and assisting with grocery shopping
-
Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, and shared living areas
-
Providing social support and transport to appointments and community activities
-
Monitoring client wellbeing and promptly reporting any concerns
-
Respecting each client’s preferences, cultural background, and values
-
Maintaining a clean and comfortable environment
Home Care Worker – key responsibilities may include all of the above, plus:
-
Assisting with personal care such as showering, grooming, toileting, and mobility
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking caring, empathetic, and reliable individuals who are passionate about supporting older people to live independently at home.
Our part-time roles require a minimum commitment of 20 hours per fortnight, and you must have availability on at least three weekdays per week during daytime hours. You will also have:

Mandatory Requirements
Both roles applicants must have or be willing to obtain:

Valid Australian driver’s licence and unlimited access to a reliable, insured vehicle

Current First Aid and CPR certifications
-
Working with Children Check (Employee)
-
National Police Check
-
Up-to-date vaccinations in accordance with Uniting AgeWell’s Vaccination Policy

Full Australian working rights
The qualified Home Care Worker role requires:
-
Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (or equivalent qualification, including current nursing students)
