About the role:
Our Hawthorn facility is looking for an engaging and proactive Lifestyle Assistant to join the team on a Permanent Monday to Friday basis. Supporting our Lifestyle Coordinator, the Lifestyle Assistant will help with the delivery of appropriate and varied lifestyle programs to enhance and support the individual needs of residents.
As a Lifestyle Assistant, you will promote and assist our residents participate in meaningful activities whilst maintaining friendly and supportive professional relationships. You will be making a profound difference in the lives our residents, enabling them to live their BEST life.
You will be responsible for:
Participating in the development and delivery of lifestyle programs to our residents, ensuring residents are able to participate and enjoy the programs
Assist with assessments, review and the ongoing evaluation of residents cultural, recreational and leisure needs and lifestyle interests
provide outstanding customer service maintaining friendly, supportive and professional relationships with residents, their relatives and friends
About you:

Certificate III in Aged Care
Certificate IV in Lifestyle and Leisure (desirable)
Ability to drive a 10 seater bus (desirable)
Have experience and knowledge in residential aged care with a commitment to high standards of care for residents and their families
Are known for your caring and compassionate nature
Experience as a Personal Care Worker in Aged Care highly regarded
Thrive in a team and also appreciate the one to one interactions
A current Working with Vulnerable People card
Have Australian working rights and are able to pass a national police clearance
Thrive in a team and also appreciate the one to one interactions
