About the role:

The Workforce Integration Developer plays a pivotal role in shaping Uniting AgeWell’s digital future by designing, developing and implementing seamless integration solutions across our enterprise systems. Sitting within the Digital Apps Division and partnering closely with the Workforce Planning Team, Digital Teams and Project stakeholders, this role ensures our UKG Workforce Management solution connects effectively with existing applications and supports future organisational growth.

You will lead integration architecture, develop secure and reusable connectors, and guide technical teams on best practice integration standards. With a balance of technical depth and strong collaboration, you will enable smoother workflows, improved data flow and a modern, reliable digital environment that supports our 5000+ strong workforce.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in transformation, enjoys working across cloud and hybrid systems, and wants to contribute to meaningful organisational impact through innovative, enterprise level integration solutions.

  • Lead the design and delivery of integration architecture across cloud, hybrid and on‑premises systems
  • Develop secure, scalable and reusable integration patterns and connectors for enterprise applications
  • Collaborate with project teams, architects and system owners to align integration solutions with business needs
  • Support testing, validation and documentation to ensure quality, reliability and compliance
  • Enable continuous improvement and uplift in integration capability across the organisation

This is a fixed term contract until May 2027. You will be based at our Head Office in Melbourne with hybrid working options available (3 days working from our office and 2 das from home!)

About you:

You are passionate about what you do and want to make a difference in the lives of our residents/clients, enhancing their self-esteem and empowering them to make choices.

This is the place for you if you:
  • Tertiary qualifications in computer science, information systems, engineering or related discipline
  • Strong experience designing and delivering enterprise integration solutions across cloud and hybrid environments
  • Proficiency with UKG or Kronos WFM platforms and related integration modules
  • Hands on skills in APIs, microservices, messaging protocols and modern integration frameworks
  • Experience with Azure, Boomi, Workato, Mulesoft or similar integration platforms
  • Ability to translate technical requirements for non technical audiences and build strong stakeholder relationships
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and documentation skills with a focus on quality and outcomes
