About the role:

We are looking to add an administration officer role to provide relief across our AgeWell Centres across our Eastern sites in Burwood East and Berwick. The ideal candidate will be able to cover planned leave for .8 or 1FTE from Dec 15th 2025 to February 6th 2025 and then stay on in a casual capacity and cover leave as required.

A rewarding opportunity for to provide high quality and professional administration support across our AgeWell centres throughout our Eastern and Northwest Regions, in this this role you will:

  • Provide outstanding customer service maintaining friendly, supportive and professional relationships with residents, their relatives and friends
  • Checking in visitors, contractors and other guests, ensuring OSH guidelines are followed
  • Provide friendly and professional reception switchboard support
  • Ad-hoc Administration duties as required or advised

About you:

You are passionate about what you do and want to make a difference in the lives of our clients, to support them to live life to their potential

This is the place for you if you have:

  • Experience and expertise in managing a busy switchboard and reception
  • Experience in communicating effectively with a diverse range of people, including older people or those who have disabilities
  • Experience in residential aged care or community is strongly preferred
  • Experience in database and finance systems
  • Excellent proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook with keyboard skills of typing of 50 wpm
  • Thrive in a team and also appreciate the one to one interactions

Essentials for working in Aged Care:

  • A current Working With Children Check card 
  • Current and ongoing flu vaccinations
  • Australian working rights
  • Ability to pass a national police clearance and NDIS Clearance
