About the role:
Based at our Head Office in Wesley Place, the AI Applications Trainer role is your opportunity to lead the way in how Uniting AgeWell embraces the future of work. You’ll design and deliver high‑impact training programs and learning resources that uplift digital capability, strengthen system adoption, and empower teams across the organisation to work smarter, not harder.
As an AI Applications Trainer, you’ll be at the forefront of our AI transformation, championing tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Chatbots, Teams, SharePoint, Heidi AI, and emerging AI-enabled features across our business systems. You’ll turn complex technology into practical, confidence‑building learning experiences that make a real difference to how our staff work every day.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the delivery and management of AI solutions aligned to strategy
- Implement AI governance frameworks for compliance and trust
- Operationalise AI solutions using Microsoft AI stack and Copilot
- Drive training and adoption of AI tools across the organisation
- Engage with stakeholders to identify needs and deliver impactful solutions
About you:
You are passionate about what you do and want to make a difference in the lives of our residents and clients, enhancing their self-esteem and empowering them to make choices.
This is the place for you if you have:
- Proven experience in delivering AI initiatives in large organisations
- Experience delivering AI and digital productivity training across diverse audiences
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent)
- Demonstrated ability to build AI confidence and digital literacy
- Hands on experience with AI and productivity tools, including Microsoft Copilot, chatbots, Teams and SharePoint; Heidi AI desirable
- Ability to analyze AI adoption trends and inform targeted training activities

Essentials for working in Aged Care:
- A current Working With Children Check card / Vulnerable People card
- Current and ongoing flu vaccinations
- Australian working rights
- Ability to pass a national police clearance and NDIS Clearance
