About the role:

Join Uniting AgeWell as a Business Analyst (12-Month Fixed Term Contract) and play a key role in delivering digital and business improvement initiatives that support quality aged care services across Victoria and Tasmania. Reporting to the Head of Digital PMO, you will work across multiple projects, partnering with stakeholders to identify business needs, translate requirements into practical solutions, and support successful project delivery. This role sits within the Digital Division and is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting people, processes and technology to drive meaningful outcomes. You will help improve operational efficiency, enhance user experiences and contribute to services that make a genuine difference in the lives of older Australians.

  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to gather, analyse and define requirements for new systems and enhancements
  • Facilitate workshops, conversations and discovery activities to uncover business needs and opportunities for improvement
  • Translate complex business requirements into clear user stories, process maps, functional specifications and test scenarios
  • Support Agile delivery teams by refining backlogs, clarifying requirements and ensuring solutions meet intended outcomes
  • Collaborate with technical specialists and subject matter experts to evaluate options and recommend fit-for-purpose solutions
  • Act as the key liaison between business units, technology teams, vendors and project stakeholders
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen business analysis capability and organisational performance

This is a hybrid role, based out of Head Office in Wesley Place in Melbourne's CBD.

What you'll bring:

  • Proven experience delivering business analysis outcomes across technology, digital or transformation projects
  • Strong capability eliciting, documenting and managing requirements from diverse stakeholder groups
  • Experience translating business needs into user stories, process maps, specifications and testing artefacts
  • Demonstrated success working within Agile project environments and supporting delivery teams
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and competing priorities while maintaining quality outcomes
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and confidence influencing across business and technical audiences
  • A track record of identifying opportunities for efficiency, process improvement and better ways of working
  • Experience in health, aged care or client management systems will be highly regarded

  • A current Working With Children Check card
  • Current and ongoing flu vaccinations
  • Australian working rights
  • Ability to pass a national police clearance and NDIS Clearance
