About the role:

Based out of our Head Office in Wesley Place, Melbourne, the Business Systems Partner is a high-level functional specialist who acts as the primary link between the Applications team, business stakeholders, and external software vendors and a specific business portfolio (e.g., Home Care, Residential, Finance). Reporting to the Business Enablement Manager, this role is responsible for ensuring that enterprise systems are optimised to meet the operational needs of their assigned portfolio.

Operating within a Service-Delivery model, the Business Systems Partner rotates through portfolios periodically to ensure broad organisational knowledge. The Partner is also a proactive advisor who manages vendor relationships, anticipates system changes, and fosters deep "business partnering" with Finance Managers, Care Managers, and Corporate leads. A core component of this role is to follow the shadowing and succession planning methodology, where each Partner acts as a lead for one portfolio while providing active backup and support for another, ensuring 100% service continuity and the elimination of key-person risk.

About you:

You are passionate about what you do and want to make a difference in the lives of our residents/clients, enhancing their self-esteem and empowering them to make choices.

This is the place for you if you have:

  • 3+ years in a Systems Support/Analyst, Business Analyst, or Super-User role within a complex enterprise environment, with a focus on vendor liaison and stakeholder management.
  • Deep SME knowledge of Aged Care business processes (Residential, Home Care, Quality & Risk, and Finance/HR functions).
  • Proven experience managing vendor support desk escalations and participating in vendor user groups or roadmap sessions
  • Experience in proactive release management - interpreting vendor release notes and assessing business impact and UAT
  • Proven experience in Quality Assurance (QA), including drafting functional test scripts and coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with non-technical business users.
  • Experience in developing user-facing documentation (Quick Reference Guides, Wikis) and facilitating "Train-the-Trainer" sessions to ensure system adoption.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with mid-to-senior business leaders (Finance Managers, Care Managers) to influence technology adoption.
  • Prior experience in the Healthcare or Aged Care industry is highly desirable, with an understanding of the 24/7 nature of clinical/residential environments.
  • Thrive in a team and also appreciate the one to one interactions.
  • Are committed to being part of a workplace culture based on the BEST way of life (Believe, Excel, Support and Trust).

Essentials for working in Aged Care:

  • A current Working With Children Check card / Vulnerable People card
  • Current and ongoing flu vaccinations
