About the role:

Extended Care Assistants work as part of a multi-disciplinary team of passionate and committed aged care professionals. We work together by providing personalised support to deliver the best possible care and services to residents to meet their individual needs and preferences.

We are seeking a casual extended Care Assistants to work in our Sandy Bay home with availability to work at least 1-3 shifts a week. The successful candidates will also have the opportunity to pick up shifts.

• Assisting residents with daily living and mobility duties such as showering, feeding and toileting to enhance daily life
• Building and maintaining supportive relationships with residents, clients and their families to strengthen relationships within the business and local community
• Recognising changes in clients conditions and report observations and concerns

About you:

• Hold a current Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing)
• Are known for your caring and compassionate nature
• Have the initiative and ability to work without supervision
• Thrive in a team and also appreciate the one to one interactions

Essentials for working in Aged Care:

• A current Working With Vulnerable People card
• Current and ongoing flu vaccinations
• Australian working rights
• Ability to pass a national police clearance and NDIS Clearance
