About the role:
We are currently recruiting three part-time Food Service Assistants to join our welcoming aged care community in Box Hill. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who is reliable, organised, and enjoys working as part of a supportive kitchen team while making a positive difference to residents’ daily wellbeing.
These roles are predominantly kitchen-based and focus on supporting safe, efficient food service operations. We are recruiting across three fixed shift patterns, as outlined below:
- Wednesday to Saturday – Morning shift: 7:30am to 2:00pm
- Wednesday to Saturday – Afternoon/evening shift: 3:30pm to 7:30pm
- Sunday to Tuesday – Afternoon/evening shift: 3:30pm to 7:30pm
Duties include assisting with deliveries and stock rotation, delivering meals to cottages, washing dishes, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, restocking kitchenettes, and assisting with basic food preparation.
About you:

- Have experience and expertise working in food service; preferably in a health, hotel or aged care setting
- Are experienced in customer service and provide excellent standard of service
- Have the initiative and ability to work without supervision

Essentials for working in Aged Care:
- A current Working With Children Check card
- Current and ongoing flu vaccinations
- Australian working rights
- Ability to pass a national police clearance and NDIS Clearance
