About the roles:

Become a beacon of hope and compassion! We are searching for heartfelt, empathetic, and dependable individuals who cherish the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our cherished ageing clients, helping them stay independent and dignified in the comfort of their own homes. Together, let's create a community where compassion, support and kindness shine brightest.

This is a qualified part-time role that requires a minimum of 6 hours per day, and you must have availability of at least three weekdays per week during daytime hours. 

This role will see you supporting clients in the City of Greater Dandenong, City of Casey, Cardinia Shire, Frankston City, and surrounding communities. 

Home Care Worker - key responsibilities may include (depending on client needs): 

• Assisting with personal care, such as showering, grooming, toileting and mobility assistance 
• Performing household tasks to maintain a safe and tidy space, such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and laundry 
• Preparing meals and assisting with grocery shopping
• Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms and shared living spaces
• Providing social support and transport to appointments and community activities
• Monitoring client wellbeing and promptly reporting any concerns
• Respecting each clients preferences, cultural background, and values

Mandatory Requirements: 

Employment is conditional on being willing and able to provide all mandatory compliance documents prior to a successful applicants' first day.

Applicants must have or be willing and able to obtain: 

• Cert III Individual Support, Cert IV Ageing Support (Or equivalent qualification)
• Valid Victorian Drivers Licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle 
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate
• Working with Children's Check (Employee)
• Police Check
• Up-to-date flu vaccination and other necessary vaccinations in accordance with Uniting Agewell's Vaccination Policy
• Full Australian working rights
