About the roles:

Join our East Melbourne Metro Home Care team!

Are you passionate about helping older people live safely and independently in the comfort of their own homes? Join our Support At Home Program and become part of a team that truly changes lives every single day. 

Our program empowers older people to remain in their own homes for as long as possible, surrounded by familiarity, comfort, and community. As a Home Care Worker, you’ll provide personalised, one-on-one support tailored to each client’s individual needs, building meaningful connections while promoting dignity and independence.

This is a part-time role that requires a minimum commitment of 20 hours per fortnight, and you must have availability of at least three weekdays per week during daytime hours. 

This role will see you supporting clients in Whitehorse City, Yarra Ranges, Manningham City, Maroondah City, Knox City  and surrounding communities. 

• Home Care Worker 
  • Home Care Workers provide personal care and domestic assistance to support clients with daily living needs. Duties vary depending on client requirements and individual care plans.
  • Cert III Individual Support, Cert IV Ageing Support (Or equivalent qualification, including current nursing students)

• Home Care Domestic Support 
  • Home Care Domestic Support workers focus primarily on domestic assistance, helping clients maintain a safe and comfortable home environment. 
  • No qualification is required for this role

Essentials for working in Aged Care:

You must have, or be willing to obtain:

• Valid Victorian Drivers Licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle 
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate
• Working with Children's Check (Employee)
• Current and ongoing flu vaccination
• Australian working rights
• A National Police Check
