About the role:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Hotel Services Coordinator to join our team at our Forest Hill aged care facility. This key leadership position also includes oversight of an additional site (location to be confirmed). The role is responsible for coordinating and supervising all hotel services functions—including cleaning, catering, laundry, and waste management whilst ensuring full compliance with organisational standards and delivering exceptional service to residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate cleaning, catering, laundry, and waste services across the site.
  • Maintain compliance records and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Manage ordering systems, supplier relationships, and invoice approvals within financial delegation.
  • Develop and maintain rosters, ensuring adequate staffing and skill mix.
  • Provide supervision, guidance, and performance reviews for hotel services staff.
  • Assist with budget management and reporting.
  • Promote person-centred care and excellent customer service aligned with UA values.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, OHS, and infection control standards.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in hotel services coordination, preferably in aged care or healthcare
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Mandatory: Chef qualification (Certificate III or higher in Commercial Cookery or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements, food safety, and OHS standards
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

  • A current Working With Children Check card 
  • Current and ongoing flu vaccinations
