About the role:

Based out of our Head Office in Wesley Place, Melbourne, work as part of Applications Support team in this Full Time role. The Systems Support Officer provides valuable Level 2 technical support and acts as the primary escalation point for Infrastructure, Endpoint and Cloud-related incidents and service requests.

This role is responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues across:

• Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, Licensing)
• Entra ID / Active Directory (hybrid identity environments)
• Endpoint Management (Intune / Microsoft Endpoint Manager)
• Azure Infrastructure (IaaS virtual machines and associated services)
 
The Systems Support Officer works closely with the Service Desk (Level 1), Infrastructure and Cloud Engineers (Level 3), Security and Digital Workplace teams to ensure stability, performance, compliance and security of Uniting AgeWell’s technology environment.
 
You will play an active role within the UA team, participating in building a community-based culture that fosters a spirit of the BEST way of life, supporting our people to be their best, give their best and help our community to live their best.
 
About you:

This is the place for you if you have:

• Experience in a Level 2 IT Support, Infrastructure or Cloud Support role
• Demonstrated experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments, including: Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive
• Strong working knowledge of: Entra ID and Hybrid Active Directory, User lifecycle management and identity troubleshooting 
• Experience with Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager, and Windows 10/11 operating systems 
• Strong troubleshooting capability across authentication, device compliance and cloud identity issues
• Experience working within an IT Service Management (ITSM) platform and managing incident lifecycles
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and document technical findings clearly
• High level of analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
• Capacity to manage competing priorities in a dynamic operational environment
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Experience and understanding of the Aged Care/Health Care 
• Thrive in a team and also appreciate the one to one interactions

  • A current Working With Children Check card / Vulnerable People card
  • Current and ongoing flu vaccinations
