About the role:

 Join a supportive organisation where you'll have opportunities to contribute and develop your skills. As a qualified Occupational Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering essential services in the Mildura region.

You'll be responsible for providing focused home-based services for older clientele (65+) with a variety of health conditions, accessing services through their Home Care Package (HCP). Our service is built on a foundation of innovation, focusing on clients’ strengths, goal-directed interventions, and maximizing independence and autonomy.
 
You will work autonomously, managing your own caseload, primarily in Mildura, with occasional outreach to Swan Hill, but will have access to regular one-to-one clinical supervision and support from the Clinical Lead of Occupational Therapy.

About you:

You are a passionate and motivated Occupational Therapist with excellent clinical skills, committed to continuous learning and delivering best practice. You want to make a difference in the lives of older adults by enhancing their self-esteem, empowering them to make choices, and achieving exceptional outcomes. You are interested in a full-time opportunity or working 4 days per week(negotiable).

We are looking for individuals with:

  • Recognised tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Experience working in the Community Aged Care sector with clients receiving services through their Home Care Package
  • Demonstrated knowledge of clinical practice working with a variety of health conditions in 65+ year old clientele
  • The ability to work autonomously and manage a caseload independently
  • Have full Australian working rights and are able to pass a national police clearance
  • Have a valid driver's license and access to a car
  • Graduates need not apply
