About the role:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Activities Worker to join our team on a Part time basis working Tuesday to Friday (08:30am to 16:30pm)
The Activities Worker will assist clients to participate in social support programs that are reflective of the goals and priorities of the clients, meeting their care needs. Social support programs aim to allow our clients to remain engaged with their communities through a range of service options that are delivered in line with client preferences.
Social support programs are offered through Centre based individual and group programs that are respectful and reflective of the goals and priorities of the clients, as well as through the use of virtual platforms and 1:1 home and community support.
The Activities Worker will liaise with the Centre Coordinator, Team Leader and/or Operations Manager to determine the strengths, skills, interests and care needs of clients and ensure all clients have an up to date assessment and service plan to support their participation in the program.
In this role, you will:
- Promote and participate in quality activities
- provide outstanding customer service maintaining friendly, supportive and professional relationships with clients, their relatives and friends
- Support colleagues by sharing knowledge and expertise.
You will play an active role with the UA team, participating in building a community based culture that fosters a spirit of the BEST way of life, supporting our people to be their best, give their best and help our community to live their best!
