About the role:
 
Based out of our Head Office in Wesley Place, As a Clinical Advisor, you will drive clinical excellence across our Home Care services. This pivotal role is responsible for leading best-practice clinical initiatives that enhance client outcomes, support safe care delivery, and promote continuous quality improvement.
 
Working closely with clinical and non-clinical teams, you will oversee the development, implementation, and review of clinical policies, procedures, and governance frameworks to ensure services align with contemporary evidence-based practice. You will provide expert guidance in key areas including clinical assessments, wound management, dementia care, and palliative care, ensuring the highest standards of care are consistently delivered.
 
As a trusted clinical expert, you will monitor outcomes, identify opportunities for improvement, and champion initiatives that promote safe, person-centred care. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated clinical professional who is passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of older people.
 
In this role, you will:
 
• Review, develop and implement Clinical policy and procedures
• Monitor Clinical assessments & reviews
• Deliver effective wound management and contemporary practice and tools
• Establish mandatory competencies
• Support the safe delivery of Dementia Care
• Support the safe delivery of Palliative Care
• Support the development of clinical education material
• Facilitate learning and development opportunities
• Work with non-clinicians such as Case Mangers and Home Care Workers to increase their knowledge and focus
 
 
 
About you:

You are passionate about what you do and want to make a difference in the lives of our residents and clients, enhancing their self-esteem and empowering them to make choices.

This is the place for you if you have:
  • A Registered Nurse background with APHRA Registration
  • 3 years’ experience in a similar management role within health or aged care settings
  • Supervisory experience in clinically supporting RNs, ENs, allied health staff and student placements (individual and group work)
  • A practical, solutions-focused approach to compliance and risk
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Delivery of high quality training services in health, aged care or community services or equivalent sectors (desirable)
  • Are committed to being part of a workplace culture based on the BEST way of life (Believe, Excel, Support and Trust)

  • A current Working With Children card
  • Current and ongoing flu vaccinations
  • Australian working rights
  • Ability to pass a national police clearance
