About the Roles – Multiple Positions Available
Our Loddon Mallee South Home Care Program provides essential in-home support to elderly clients in Maryborough and surrounding communities. We are recruiting for multiple positions across two roles, both requiring travel between clients’ homes to provide care and support.
Home Care Domestic Support key responsibilities may include:
Performing household tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, laundry and general tidying
Preparing light meals and assisting with grocery shopping
Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms and shared living areas
Providing social support or transport to appointments and community activities
Monitoring client wellbeing and promptly reporting any concerns
Respecting each client’s preferences, cultural background and values
Maintaining a clean, safe and comfortable home environment
Home Care Worker key responsibilities may include all of the above, plus:
Assisting with personal care such as showering, grooming, toileting and mobility

What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking caring, empathetic and reliable individuals who are passionate about supporting older people to live independently at home. You will have daytime availability on at least three set weekdays each week, strong organisational skills, and a focus on maintaining safe and clean environments. A commitment to person-centred care, the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team, and alignment with our BEST philosophy – Believe, Excel, Support, Trust – are essential.
Mandatory Requirements
Applicants must have or be willing to obtain the following:
For Home Care Worker roles:
Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (or equivalent qualification, including current nursing students)
For both roles:
A valid Australian driver’s licence and unlimited access to a reliable, insured vehicle
Current First Aid and CPR certifications
Working with Children Check (Employee)
National Police Check or NDIS Worker Screening Check
Up-to-date vaccinations in accordance with Uniting AgeWell’s Vaccination Policy
